Next morning...

Kim woke up first, and she fidgeted a bit to place herself more comfortably on Jaejoong's chest to have a good look at him. Her chin was propped on her hands which were both on his chest. He didn't seem to be bothered by her movements as he was still sleeping soundly. A satisfied smile flashed across his face, as if he was having a wonderful dream. His body felt so warm and cozy, and Kim snuggled up closer to him, pulling the covers up too to cover the both of them. He looked so sweet, with his dark, curly, and luscious eyelashes fully down, covering the edges of his eyes. Kim moved myself further up, and laid on his shoulder. This way she could get a mush closer view of her "Sleeping Prince Charming". He really was a very deep sleeper, cos despite her countless shifting, he was still enjoying his sleep.

Jaejoong: I love you baby…don't leave me please…

Jaejoong murmured in his sleep. Then a sad look came over his entire face, and he looked as if he was going to start crying. Kim extended her hand up to stroke his face, it didn't seem to work. So she shifted herself closer to his face, and gave him a kiss on his lips. At this point, he woke up. And upon seeing Kim lying so close to him, he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her even closer, giving her a very tight hug.

Jaejoong: Baby..I had a very bad dream, I dreamt that you were…

Jaejoong said in a quivering voice.

Kim: Leaving you?

He seemed shocked by herresponse, as she was right on. He pulled her away and said disbelievingly.

Jaejoong: How did you know that!

Kim: Well, I heard you talk in your sleep just now, asking me not to leave, well I'm assuming the "baby" you were calling was me, that is. Then you were asking me not to leave…

He seemed bothered by his dream again, Kim pulled him closer, and said this into his face, which was just inches apart from hers.

Kim: Honey…don't look so sad, it's just a dream OK…I'm here right? That's all that matters isn't it? I love you.

With this, Kim gave him a kiss, wrapping herself around him.

Jaejoong: I know it's just a dream…but it scared me…I can't imagine life without you,…I'd never survive for long…I'll die…

Jaejoong said in a very depressed voice, looking away.

Kim pulled his face back to look at her, inching closer to him.

Kim: Gosh you ARE so bothered by the dream! Don't be OK! Look here.

Kim said pulling his face towards her.

Kim: I'm married to you already…Furthermore we have 2 kids now, there's no way I'm gonna let you off the hook now! I'm sticking with you FOR LIFE! Now don't you start getting such ideas or I'm gonna start thinking you wanna leave me!

Jaejoong: You don't think that do you? Baby…cos that's not what I was thinking…I…I…

Jaejoong said worriedly. Kim placed her finger on his lips to stop him from blabbering on. Then she got up.

Kim: I gotta go wash up and make breakfast for the kids now, grab some more sleep will you. And don't think so much.

With that, Kim started walking towards the bathroom. Hearing no response from him, Kim turned around a took another look at him, being the brooder that he was, he still hadn't quite got over his dream, so there was still some work that Kim had to do to get him back to his good old chirpy self again. He was sitting there looking down at the carpet.

Kim: Jaejoong…

No response.

Kim: Joongie… honey...

He finally looked up.

Kim: Honey, you wanna give me a hand in here? I could use some help…

Jaejoong just sat there looking up at Kim and gave a blank nod. Seeing him in this state really bothered Kim, so she hurried over and pulled him up by his hand, dragging him to the bathroom. Kim placed his arms around her waist and spun around to ask.

Kim: Do you wanna have a shower or a bath?

There was no response from Jaejoong.

Kim: I think you should have a long bath to relax yourself. But I only have time for a shower…

Kim took a look at him, he was still very much in the brooding state.

Kim: Alright, then, we'll have a long bath…TOGETHER…

Kim filled the tub up with lukewarm water, and added some aroma therapy oils and sea salts for relaxation. All the while, Jaejoong was sitting at the toilet bowl, looking at Kim. When everything was ready, Kim turned around.

Kim: The bath's ready Jaejoong…

He was still sitting there, so Kim walked over and pulled him up.

Kim: You have got to stop brooding! Come on, help me into the tub will you …

After saying this, Kim placed her arms around his neck, getting Kim's hint, he finally gave a smile, and carried her up, and placed her down into the tub. Then he lowered himself in too, and crawled up to Kim. She spread her legs to let him lean his back against her body. Once he was comfortably seated, Kim started massaging his body, he had his hands on both her thighs, and he was stroking her gently as Kim gave him the massage. After some time, when he was more at ease, and had already taken his mind off the dream, Kim needed to excuse herself to start making breakfast, so she stopped massaging him.

Kim: Jaejoong, I think I have to get out now and start making breakfast already… Why don't you continue enjoying the bath, and breakfast will be ready when you're done?

Kim started to push herself out from the tub, then he held onto her hand.

Jaejoong: Baby do you have to go? I wanna spend some more time with you here…

Jaejoong turned himself around to face Kim, and gave her the most pitiful look Kim had ever seen. Feeling a little guilty for having to "neglect" him at this kind of time, Kim REALLY wanted to give in and stay in the bath with him, but time was running late, and the kids still had classes, so she really couldn’t. She must have looked really bothered by what he said, and what she had to do.

Jaejoong: It's OK baby…I know you're busy, just go do what you have to do…I'll be fine here by myself…

Jaejoong murmured, looking down at the bathwater, and making swirls in it. Maybe it was just Kim's own over-sensitivity, cos he didn't seem to be alright at all.

Kim: Why don't you come on out too and help me with the breakfast? I could use some help in the kitchen…

Kim looked down anticipatingly at his face to see if there was any change in his expression.

Jaejoong: Baby…you're the SWEETEST! Of cos I'll give you a hand, and a little bit more…

At last Jaejoong replied chirpily. So they both rinsed off, and changed. Things were so much faster with him around helping her out. Kim could actually make muffins for the kids' brunch, while he made breakfast. Kim left breakfast to him, just to let him have something to do to keep his mind from brooding again. And though there was a lot of work going on in the kitchen, Kim still stole occasional glances at him to check if he was doing all right. And whenever he saw her looking, he would give her a smile, and stick out his tongue as if to show his tiredness from all the work.

Sometimes, he even caught her unaware and gave her a shock by standing directly behind her, so close that once Kim turned around, she would collide into him. And once their lips ran smack into each others, and that developed into a long smooch, with him fondling her, but Kim with her ingredients-stained hands, could do nothing but just let him do what he wants. But seriously, Kim had a great time, and by the time they were finished, the kids were already up from the din that they were making, and the two of them came walking sleepily into the kitchen, rubbing their eyes, and calling for their parents. They looked so cute in their pyjamas that Kim really had to resist giving them a hug and kiss.

Well, Jaejoong did that on Kim's behalf, and carried the two over to her to let them give Kim a morning kiss each. Oh how blissful can life be!

Kim: Baby can you help the kids get dressed while I clear the mess here?

Jaejoong was still playing with the two kids, swirling round and round with them in his arms.

Jaejoong: Oh…sure baby…Off we go!

Jaejoong whisked the two giggling kids into the bathroom. When Kim was finished with the cleaning, and the table was set, the kids emerged from their room with Jaejoong walking behind them. Seeing what a great job that he had done, Kim gave an approving smile at him, and he did thank you bow to Kim exaggeratedly. The kids toddled towards her, and Kim squatted down and carried them up onto their high chairs. Once Jaejoong reached where Kim was sitting, he stopped behind her. Since Kim had her back towards him, and she was busy cutting up the kids' food into smaller pieces that they would be able to eat by themselves, she didn't know what he was doing behind her.

But suddenly Kim started to hear the kids giggling uncontrollably, so she turned around to have a look. Never did she imagined that he would suddenly lean down and give her a kiss right smack on the lips. The kids were laughing out loud now. Jaejoong was probably plotting with the kids, hinting them to not make a sound as he slowly sneaked up to her!

Hugo: Daddy, can we eat now? I'm hungry.

Hugo asked innocently. Upon hearing his question, Jaejoong let go of Kim.

Jaejoong: Sure honey, go ahead…we'll eat together.

Feeling a bit disoriented from the surprise smooch, it took Kim awhile to return to return to reality, and the sound of their noisy handling of the cutlery certainly helped a lot. Soon they had finished their meal together, and Kim hurried the kids to wait for her in the car, as she cleared the dishes. Jaejoong helped her bring everything to the sink, and after that he ushered the kids to the car, and she cleaned the dishes. After she finished, she heard the kids calling for her from the car, and Kim rushed out after shouting a reply. When Kim reached the door, she saw Jaejoong standing at the doorway waiting for her. He gave a smile when she walked over.

Jaejoong: So I'll see you later this afternoon, after my photo shoot right?

Jaejoong took Kim into his arms. Kim looked up at him, and replied a faint "Yes". As his eyes glazed deeply into hers, he leaned closer and whispered.

Jaejoong: Love you…

And Jaejoong gave Kim a kiss on her lips. Kim could smell the faint scent of the aromatherapy oils on his skin, and she relaxed in his arms. Then he gave her a tight hug, and let go to let her go to the car. Kim walked a few steps, before turning around and saying.

Kim: I love you too Joongie…See you later. Have a great day at the shoot!

And Kim turned back and ran towards the car, and drove away, waving a last goodbye before she eased the car out of the runway.

Late noon that same day...

Kim drove as usual to fetch her kids from the kindergarten, but this time they weren't waiting for her as usual at the doorway when she arrived. So she got out of the car and went into the kindergarten to look for them. Kim found them inside the waiting room. Miki's eyes were swollen and red, and Hugo seemed rather unhappy.

Kim went in, and they ran up to hug her when they saw her. After some questioning, Kim realized that their teacher had detained them after class. So Kim went out to search for their teacher. The teacher told Kim that Hugo had gotten into a fight with another boy, and apparently pushed that boy to the floor amidst the fight. The teacher then asked Kim to call for her husband, as she needed to speak to him. As Kim knew Jaejoong was busy, she tried to explain that he wouldn't be able to make it, but she kept on insisting, and Kim had no choice. So Kim called Jaejoong, and fortunately he was almost finished with his part of the shoot, and he could leave straight away.

Kim returned back to the waiting room, where the kids were, and asked them about the fight. According to Miki, who was all in tears when she said it, the boy had teased her about not having a father, as they had never seen him before, and Hugo had tried to protect her from the boy who was making her cry. A sharp pain sliced through Kim's heart when she heard it. Kim turned to look at Hugo, who was sitting at the sofa alone.

Kim's thoughts: To think that I had thought that he was in the wrong! It was so stupid of me! He would NEVER do that for no reason at all!

Kim: Hugo, sweetie, would you come over here to Mummy please?

Kim asked softly, trying to hold back her own tears. Miki was already hugging her and sitting on her lap. He turned around, and walked slowly over to Kim's side, head facing the floor. Once he was in front of Kim, she asked him to lift his head to look at her. But he refused to budge, so Kim tilted her head down to take a peek at his face.

His face was stained with tears, and his eyes were still filled with tears. Kim almost died when she saw him crying too!

Kim's thoughts: God I could have beaten up that kid myself for making both my kids cry like this!

Kim swallowed her anger down, and she pulled him into her arms, into her lap, giving him a long tight hug.

Kim: Don't worry honey, everything's fine now…Daddy's gonna come later and make everything all right OK? So will you stop crying now? Cos you're making me cry too…

Kim said, wiping a tear from her eye before it dropped from her eye. Hugo looked up at her, and reached out his little hand to wipe the tear from Kim's face.

Hugo: Mummy don't cry…I'm Ok now.. So is nuna. Right nuna?

He looked at his sister, and hinted for her to reply yes. She did reply yes. Kim was so touched by the two of them that she immediately pulled both of them into a tight hug. When Jaejoong finally arrived, the kids had fallen asleep from waiting for him. He came in, saw them, and walked over. Kim told him about what happened, and he gave Kim a peck on the forehead, when he saw that she was really upset. Then he said he'll go to the office, and Kim directed him there. But she couldn't go with him, cos the kids were asleep on her lap, and she couldn't get off the sofa without waking them. So Jaejoong went alone, and Kim kept asking him to keep his cool during the talk.

It seemed quite awhile before he came back, and Kim could hear a loud slam of the office door before he came storming in. The kids woke up upon hearing the door slam, and they snuggled up to Kim, shocked from the loud sound. But when Jaejoong came in, they just ran over to him, and hugged him.

Jaejoong: My little angels, would you bring me to your classroom? Daddy would like to see what your classroom look like.

Jaejoong asked the kids. Kim took one look at him, as she walked over to join the kids, and she knew that there had been a rather heated argument inside that office. His face was slightly flushed, and there was something in his expression that Kim knew he was going to do something about what that boy had did to their kids. But Kim didn't know what, and she didn't how. So she just followed him, with the two kids in his arms, to their classroom.

There was a boy sitting inside, and upon seeing the boy, Jaejoong asked the kids whether he was the one who bullied them. It was him. Then Jaejoong said rather loudly, as if he wanted everyone in the room to hear it.

Jaejoong: So KIDS, this is where you spend half of your days in! Wow, DADDY'S impressed! Mummy sure knows how to choose a conducive studying environment for you! Well, we gotta rush now, I'm bringing you out to the beach later!

Then he walked out without even looking at the boy, with Kim standing at the doorway smiling. When he reached her at the doorway, he leaned over and gave her a kiss on the lips, and passed Miki over to Kim. Then they left the kindergarten for home.

After lunch at home, they left for the beach. And they had a great time there. First they went cycling with the kids. Well, they were seated in the child-seat behind their bikes, and Jaejoong and Kim cycled beside each other. After cycling, they went to sun-bathe, while Jaejoong and Kim sun-bathed, the kids made sandcastles. And last but not least, they had a dip in the cool sea-water before rushing off the two wet kiddos to the bathrooms to wash up and change for dinner.

Since the toilet was unisex, they could bathe together... They were literally in the same cubicle! But since it is a larger-than-normal cubicle, you need to pay a bit more for it. But they had fun in there, spraying each other with the shower. After a long struggle, they finally managed to get the kids dressed. And now it was Kim's turn to wash up. The kids sat outside with Jaejoong at first to wait for Kim, but apparently he thought that she was taking too long and he wanted to get in and shower too. So they made the kids sing outside while they showered in the cubicle so that they knew that they were still there. Obediently, they sat outside and started playing some singing game. And Jaejoong and Kim got on with their showering. There Kim was showering the soap off her body, and Jaejoong was taking off his trunks, and then suddenly he came up to Kim from behind, as she had my back to him, and he grabbed her! Kim almost let out a scream due to the shock!

Kim: Baby, this is not the time to...

But his lips covered her lips, and interrupted her speech. His hands then went running down her body, and she was flushed and aroused. But they couldn't do this now. It was a public place, and they had 2 kids out there waiting for them! She had to stop him.

Kim grabbed his hands, and pulled herself away from the kiss. He still wanted to advance, butshe just stepped back and reminded him that the kids were waiting for them, and that they couldn't do this now. He seemed a bit disappointed, but then Kim moved up to him, placed her forehead on his, and placed his arms around her waist. Kim placed her arms around his neck.

Kim: Baby…when we get home… I'll give you what you want… You don't want the kids to wait too long for their dinner don't you? They'll starve…And this ain't a great day for them already, I'm sure you don't wanna make it worst for them, going without dinner…Huh?

Kim looked deep into those puppy-dog eyes, and she saw a glimmer of realization, and he gave her another short smooch, and started showering himself, and Kim. They were soon dressed, and ready to leave for dinner. The kids wanted to eat pizza, so they left for Pizza Hut at Takashimaya. After dinner, they went home after a bit of shopping, and the kids went straight to bed after washing up. And they got on with what they wanted to do earlier in the day during the shower.
