Christmas day dinner with in-laws...

Jaejoong: Mum, dad... You're going to be grandparents again soon...

Kim didn't expect Jaejoong to announce the news to her in-laws at this time, and she looked up from feeding the kids at him. Jaejoong smiled at Kim, and his parents looked at Kim with joy.

Jaejoong's Dad: Oh my... Joongie... It's such good news!!! What a great Christmas gift for the two of us... Your sisters will be so happy for you...

He grabbed hold of his wife's hand and smiled at her happily.

Jaejoong's Mum: Yeh... Joongie... You'd better take good care of Kim during this time... She's slimmed down a lot since the last time we saw her...

She turned to Kim.

Jaejoong's Mum: You'd better eat more my dear... You're eating for two now...

Kim smiled at her mother-in-law, as she loaded Kim's plate with more food.

Kim: Thanks mum... I'll take note to eat more from now on...

Jaejoong reached over and grabbed hold of Kim's hand, and smiled at Kim.

Hugo: Mummy... mummy... why are you eating for two now???

Kim turned her attention back to her two kids.

Kim: Cos Mummy is having another baby in my tummy... So whatever Mummy eats, the baby eats too... So Mummy has to eat more so that the baby has enough to eat...

Hugo: Oh....

Hugo did a "light bulb lighting up in his head" face, with his mouth opened wide into an "O" shape. Kim reached over and fondled his face. Jaejoong stood up and walked over to his kids.

Jaejoong: So Miki and Hugo... You guys are going to have a baby brother or sister when Mummy's birthday comes... Are you happy?

Miki & Hugo: YES!!!!

Jaejoong: So do you want a brother or sister?

Miki: I want a baby sister to play with my dolls with me...

Hugo: I want a baby brother to play basketball with me...

Everyone was shocked by their prompt answers. Kim was a bit taken aback, as she didn't expect them to have thought so much about this before. Jaejoong was the only one who took their responses normally.

Jaejoong: But Mummy is only having one baby now... So no matter if it's a baby sister or brother this time, you must love her or him as much as you love Mummy and Daddy... Okay?

Miki & Hugo: OKAY, DADDY!!!

Kim smiled at the kids' response.

Jaejoong: Mummy and Daddy can always have another baby so that both of you can have a baby sister and brother to play with you...

Miki & Hugo: YEAH!!!!!

Kim looked at Jaejoong in surprise. He was laughing along with the kids and looked at Kim lovingly. He leaned over and gave her a peck on her cheeks.

Jaejoong's Dad: Joongie, you shouldn't be telling the kids these things... And you're scaring Kim... How many are you going to have if you don't get what they want?

Jaejoong's Mum: Yeah... Remember that you have 8 elder sisters?

Kim grimaced at that comment from her in-laws. She looked down at her tummy.

Kim's thoughts: Gosh... I hope that it's twins again this time... Like Miki and Hugo... Then they'll ALL get what they want...

Jaejoong: Dad, Mum... Seriously, I think we're quite lucky... We got a girl and a boy on our first try right?

Jaejoong tousled Miki and Hugo's hair naughtily. They tried to grab his hand playfully to stop him from doing that.

A few months later...

Kim was having her prenatal ultrasound scan to check on the baby. Jaejoong was with her this time. To Kim's disappointment, this time it was not twins. Jaejoong was looking attentively to the doctor as she pointed out the various parts of the baby's body to him. And when the doctor was trying to discern the baby's gender. There was silence in the room, as both of them were anxious to know whether it was a boy or a girl.

Doctor: Congratulations Mr & Mrs Kim... It's a boy this time...

Jaejoong grabbed Kim's hand excitedly.

Jaejoong: It's a boy!!! Hugo's getting a baby brother...

A few more months later in May...

The baby was due soon. And it was also the month of Kim's birthday. So the weather was exceptionally hot and humid in Singapore. Kim grimaced at the thought of not being able to bathe or wash her hair during the post-natal period.

For this pregnancy, Kim was showered with much more attention than before, as her in-laws were concerned about her being pregnant and having to take care of her twins at the same time. So they were very nice and moved over to help her out during the last few two months of her pregnancy. Kim's mum also kept brewing tonics and loads of good food for her to eat. Kim felt overwhelmed by all their attention and care.

Even Jaejoong was able to spend more time at home with her, as the band has already gotten quite huge, and most of the groundwork publicity had already been done in the various countries. The band was able to spend more time writing music for their new album. As such, Jaejoong could spend more time at home with the kids and Kim.

One fine day, Jaejoong was trying to compose some music in his work room, while the in-laws and Kim's mum went shopping for more tonics for Kim and stuff for the new baby. The twins were at kindergarten. And Kim was making lunch for Jaejoong, the twins and herself when she suddenly felt a jab of pain in her tummy.

Kim took a deep breath and waited to see if the pain came back. It did. With her previous experience, she knew that it was cramps before the baby came.

Kim: JOONGIE!!!! JOONGIE!!!

When Jaejoong heard Kim's shouts, he dashed out of his work room into the kitchen. He dashed over to Kim when he saw her holding onto the counter with one of her hand and grabbing her tummy with the other.

Jaejoong: What's wrong, baby?

Kim looked up at Jaejoong.

Kim: Joongie... I think the baby's coming...

Jaejoong: WHAT!!!

Jaejoong got a shock of his life. He dashed around the house like a crazy man, not knowing what to do next.

Kim: Joongie... Joongie...

Jaejoong: Oh no.... What should we do now??!!!!

Kim: Calm down Joongie... Get my bag of packed stuff in the cupboard and drive me to the hospital now...

Jaejoong: Oh... okay... okay... the bag.... the car.... the hospital...

Kim slowly walked towards the door, using the kitchen counter for support, as Jaejoong dashed into the room to get her bag, and his car keys. He dashed back out to help Kim into the car.

Jaejoong: GUYS!!!! Get over here now!!! The baby's coming!!!!

Jaejoong shouted over to the guys next door. U-Know and Xiah were playing soccer, and Micky and Max were playing games on their playstation. When they heard Jaejoong, they dashed around the house like crazy and fumbled a lot before dashing over into Jaejoong's car.

Kim was already inside the car waiting for them, seeing them in such chaos made her giggle, but her cramps distracted her from the funny sight.

Kim: Guys are you all ready? Calm down okay... It's just the cramps at the moment... My water hasn't broken yet... So it'll be some time before the baby comes out...

ALL: WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO EARLIER!!!!

At the hospital...

This time the delivery was very smooth. The prenatal gym classes have definitely made a lot of difference to the delivery process. Kim was much calmer and physically stronger than before, and she didn't feel as exhausted as the first time. But Jaejoong was in contrast, a complete wreck of nerves. He was so anxious, the doctor had to ask him to sit down beside Kim to avoid knocking into any equipment, as he was pacing up and down like mad.

Outside the delivery room, the guys had helped Jaejoong inform his parents and Kim's mum about the situation. And they had gone to pick up the twins from kindergarten after their classes. Everyone was waiting anxiously outside the delivery room.

Then they all heard the loud wailing of a baby...

All of them gave a sign of relief and the guys hugged one another... Miki and Hugo jumped around excitedly, anxious to see their new baby brother...

Then Jaejoong carried the baby boy out to show the rest.

Xiah: Hyung... This time I'm going to be the boy's god-dad...

Max: Hyung... What about me???

Xiah took the baby boy gently from Jaejoong's arms.

Xiah: You just have to wait for the next one... This boy is my god-son... Hmm.... His name shall be... Let me see... What was the name I thought of... Jules Kim... 金秀... like my name....

Jaejoong: So following Miki and Hugo... His korean name will be 金在秀... How's that Dad, Mum, mother?

ALL: That sounds good to me...

Max: Jaejoong-hyung... that's so unfair... You better give me my god-son or daughter soon... I'm getting tired of waiting for so long... Four years already and still no god-child for me...

Jaejoong's Dad: So it's you guys that are giving them pressure!!!

Max: No... Uncle... Not us... It's just that we all wanted to have a god-child each... after Miki and Hugo... so...

Jaejoong's Mum: Max... You can't rush such things... Babies are not playthings... Kim's the one that needs to take care of them when all of you are overseas you know... not you guys...

Max: Sorry... Uncle and Aunty... we should have been more considerate towards Kim...

Jaejoong: Dad, Mum... Don't blame them... I was the one who wanted another child so soon... I wanted the twins to have a playmate... So...

The nurses pushed Kim out from the delivery room at this point in time. Kim was awake, and she looked at everyone. They all seemed unhappy.

Kim: What's wrong guys?

Xiah passed the baby to Kim.

Xiah: Kim... We've named your son already... Jules Kim 金在秀... He'll be my god-son...

Kim smiled at the baby in her arms and gave him her small finger to suck. The baby snuggled up in her arms.

Kim: That's a nice name... Jules... Similar sounding to Junsu yeah... Hee hee...

Jaejoong walked over to Kim's side. Kim looked up at him lovingly. Jaejoong gave her a kiss on her forehead.

Jaejoong: I love you baby... Thanks...

Nurse: Sorry... We have to get her back to her ward...

Kim: I'll see you guys later yeah... Joongie... Can you carry Jules first?

Kim passed Jules to Jaejoong. And the nurses pushed her to her ward.

Jaejoong: You guys go ahead first... We'll catch up... Xiah can you carry Jules over to Kim's ward?

Xiah took Jules from Jaejoong's arms. And the guys walked over to Kim's ward.

Jaejoong's Dad: You have to be more thoughtful to your wife from now on... Don't make her suffer because of your own selfish demands...

Jaejoong nodded silently. His dad walked off.

Jaejoong's Mum: Joongie... We're not scolding you, we're happy that you're giving us another grandchild so soon... But we don't want Kim to be too tired, as you're not always around to help her... So... Just give our words a thought...

Kim's mum looked at Jaejoong. She wasn't angry with him at all. In contrary to his parents, she thought they should have as many kids as they want now, when they were younger...

Kim's Mum: Jaejoong... Don't think too much... I'll help Kim with the kids... She'll be fine... I know my daughter... She's a very strong girl... She will do her best in everything she does... And that includes caring for her precious babies... So... Don't worry... Just have as many kids as you want now... They can play with each other, as their ages are close... And she's still young, her body can still take it.... And I am still able to help out... So don't worry...

Jaejoong: Mother... Thanks for your understanding... You don't know what this means to me...

Kim's Mum: Come on... Let's go see your wife and your son... I can't wait to carry my grandson... Haven't got a chance with Xiah snatching him away from you once you came out...

Jaejoong: Hee hee... Yes mother...
