Jaejoong searched around the entire ballroom for Jaein. But she was nowhere to be found. Remembering that Micky said that she had gone to the restroom after he left. He rushed towards the nearest restroom. He paced to and fro the doorway awkwardly as he was unable to go in.

Jaejoong's thoughts: Jaein-ah... Where are you? Are you inside?

Then a lady walked out of the restroom to find Jaejoong pacing up and down the door. She glared at him as he looked so suspicious loitering outside the ladies restroom.

Lady: Young man... This is the ladies restroom... The men's is over there... (points to the men's restroom)

Jaejoong (embarassedly): Joesong hamnida Ahjumma...

He turned away to want to walk away, suddenly he thought of something. He grabbed the lady on her shoulders. She gave a scream in shock.

Lady: What are you trying to do!!!

She hit him hard on his arm, making Jaejoong let go of her immediately.

Jaejoong (anxiously): Joesong hamnida... But I was too anxious... I am looking for my fiancée... She's gone missing after going to the restroom half an hour ago... Did you happen to see her inside? She's wearing a black flowy empire-cut dress.

Lady: Why didn't you say so earlier?!!!

Jaejoong: She's inside??!!!

Jaejoong tried to pop his head into the restroom to see if Jaein was inside, but was stopped by the lady, who hit his head with her hand.

Lady: Babo!!! This is a ladies' restroom!!!

Jaejoong (rubbing his head embarassedly): Mianeyo...

Lady: Silly boy... She isn't inside... There's no one inside anymore...

Jaejoong (disappointedly): Oh... kamsa hamnida... Ahjumma...

Jaejoong walked away worriedly. He searched all the restrooms on the same floor and Jaein was nowhere to be found. He was getting more and more worried.

Jaejoong's thoughts: JAEIN!!! WHERE ARE YOU???!!!! I'M SORRY!!!! JUST BE ALRIGHT AND APPEAR IN FRONT OF ME NOW!!!! I PROMISE I WON'T PUSH YOU AWAY AGAIN!!! NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!!! I DON'T CARE ANYMORE!!! IT HURTS TOO MUCH TO FORCE MYSELF TO FORGET YOU... I WON'T EVER LET YOU GO AGAIN... UNLESS YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE!!!

Jaein had returned to her apartment as she was feeling terribly sick. She didn't feel up to it to go through the entire party, so she left. Once she reached home, she sent an sms to Micky to let him know that she had left.

She laid down on her bed, hoping the sick feeling would pass by sleeping it off. Snowball followed her up to the room and laid down on the floor beside the bed.

Jaein's thoughts: Kim Jaejoong... You babo... Why are you pushing me away? I thought you love me? If you didn't, why did you even bother to save me from Yunnie and Yuki? Maybe you finally realised that I am not worthy enough for you... Like what Yuki said... You should have just let me die there... At least I won't be in so much misery now... But...

Jaein placed her hand over her tummy and rubbed it lovingly.

Jaein: Mianeyo baby... Mummy didn't mean that... I still love you... I would never want Yunnie to hurt you... And... I think Daddy will love you too... if he knows about you... But I'm sorry that I can't tell him... I'm sorry... It will be just Mummy from now on... I hope you understand...

Jaein felt another round of nauseousness and dashed into the bathroom to puke. She had never puked so much before during her few months of pregnancy. But today everything didn't seem to be going her way. First Jaejoong ignoring her. Now even her pregnancy is not letting her have an easy time.

Jaejoong went back to the ballroom after combing all the restrooms. He got back to his table and sat down exhausted from all the running around. He took out his phone and was about to dial Jaein's number. Then he hesitated.

Micky: Did you find Jaein?

Micky's voice broke Jaejoong's thoughts. He looked up at Micky.

Jaejoong: Anio... I searched all the restrooms... She's no where to be found...

Micky: Have you called her?

Jaejoong: Anio...

Micky: Why? Give her a call... Maybe she's somewhere here where we can't spot...

Jaejoong: I...

Micky: What's wrong with the two of you man? Since the kidnap incident, you two have been acting so strange... And are you even discussing about the wedding?

Jaejoong: Anio... I haven't spoken to her... Since the incident...

Micky: Why? You tried so hard to save her and now she's safe... You're pulling away?

Jaejoong: I don't know... I'm confused...

Micky: Well confused, or not... If you're not calling her, I'm gonna call her to see where she is...

Micky took out his phone and realised that he had a new sms. He opened it and read it. It was from Jaein, apologizing that she had already left. Micky snapped his phone shut and glared at Jaejoong.

Jaejoong: I thought you wanted to call her?

Micky: She's already left...

Jaejoong's thoughts: Must be because of what I did earlier...

Micky: Well... What are you waiting for?!!! GO LOOK FOR HER!!!

Jaejoong: But... I...

Micky: I can't leave... It's my company's party... You can... So leave and check on her... She deserves better treatment than how you are treating her... After all she had gone through because of you... I swear if I knew how you were going to be treating her, I'd never have given up and let her choose with you...

Jaejoong: Micky... I... You still love her?

Micky: I have already accepted it that she loves you... And will never love me... But... You better make sure you don't hurt her again... Cos if she ever leaves you... I'd definitely be waiting for her to give me a chance... So you better cherish what you have...

Jaejoong: I know... I love her so much... And I just don't want to see her get hurt because of me... The incident made me wonder if making her stay with me was the right thing to do... Cos she got hurt because of me... And I couldn't even protect her properly... I felt so useless... I thought maybe without me around, she wouldn't get hurt again...

Micky (patting his shoulder): You are really a babo... It's not your fault... I'm sure Jaein knows that... And I don't think she blames you... Since she still makes up excuses for you when I ask why you haven't been fetching her home from work... I can tell that she still loves you a lot... Didn't you see how happy she looked when she saw you come just now? But your rejection made her face change from pure joy to pure pain, within seconds... She looked so sad just now... Even I felt bad for trying to help patch things up between you two... And about not hurting her again by leaving her... I think you are hurting her even more by pushing her away... And also hurting yourself at the same time... Why don't you just cherish what you both have together and don't think so much about the other things?

Jaejoong: But I...

Micky: Jaejoong-ah... Life isn't all rosy... Love too... Things may get ugly and painful at times, but you will always be able to get through it all... Just because you have the love of your life fighting the battle together with you...

Jaejoong: Micky-ah... I... I'm such a babo...

Micky: Yes you are... So... what are you still waiting for? Go look for her now!!!

Jaejoong: Kamsahamnida Micky!!! Have a great party!!! Congrats again!!!

Jaejoong dashed off to his car. Micky watched as he ran off.

Micky's thoughts: Jaejoong-ah... Don't let me regret my decision to let you have Jaein again... I know you two love each other much more than you know... I can tell... from the way you look at each other... even when the whole room is full of people, you can see no one... but each other...
