Jaein was feeling so sick, she called her gynaecologist, whom suggested that she went down to the hospital for a check-up. She changed out of the dress into casual clothes and drove to the hospital.

Jaein: Doctor... I've been puking so much today...

Doctor: Puking is common for pregnant women... Morning sickness is very usual...

Jaein: But I'm not only puking in the morning... I was at my company's party today... And I kept feeling nauseous. Now I am feeling giddy too...

Doctor: Let me take your blood pressure. You might be slightly anaemic now... You look pale...

The doctor took her blood pressure and confirmed that her blood pressure was very low, and she was anaemic and slightly dehydrated from running around the whole day with the party preparations. She made Jaein rest for the night in the hospital to monitor her condition.

Jaein fell asleep after having an injection.

Lady: Yobosayo. Is this Mr Kim Jaejoong?

Lady: I'm calling from the hospital... Your fiancée is hospitalised for the night...

Jaejoong: What???!!! My fiancée??? You mean... JAEIN IS IN HOSPITAL???!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO HER???!!!!

Lady: Her blood pressure is too low and she's anaemic and slightly dehydrated. The doctor wanted her to stay for the night and monitor her situation. I need you to come down and settle her admittance procedures.

Jaejoong: I'll be right there...

Jaejoong grabbed Jaein's shoulders and shook her to wake her up.

Jaejoong: Jaein-ah... Jaein... wake up... wake up.....

Jaein startled awake. Her forehead was wet with beads of perspiration. She was shocked to see Jaejoong in her room. She pushed him away from herself.

Jaein: Why are you here?

Jaejoong: The nurse called me...

Jaein's thoughts: Oh no... Did he hear what I said in my dream just now? And... I didn't put his name down as the dad... How did they get his number?

The nurse walked in at this moment in time.

Nurse: Ms Jun. Just nice... I need to take your blood pressure...

Jaein: Okay.

Nurse: Sir, if you don't mind. Can you let me take your fiancée's blood pressure first?

He stepped aside to go out of the room to let the nurse do her job.

When the nurse came out of the room, Jaejoong wanted to get back in. But the nurse stopped him.

Nurse: She's gone to bed already. She's quite tired. Maybe you should go home and rest too? She will be fine here.

Jaejoong looked at Jaein's room door and pondered for a while.

Jaejoong: Thanks... I'll be off then...

Jaejoong walked off, and the nurse went back to her station.

Jaein startled awake in the middle of the night again, screaming in cold sweat from another nightmare that Yunnie and Yuki were trying to kidnap her baby from her. She opened her eyes to find herself alone in the cold and dark hospital room. She felt very lonely suddenly.

Jaein's thoughts: Have you gone back already, Jaejoong?

Jaein turned over to see if he was at the chair beside her bed. He wasn't. Then she got out from her bed and walked out of her room to see if he was still around. But again, he wasn't. So she walked back into her room and got onto her bed. Her mind was in a whirl. She missed him badly. But... she wasn't sure if they should still be together... He had been avoiding her since the incident... He even rejected Micky's offer to let her entertain him during the party...

What more is there to say? There was no sign that he wanted to be with her anymore...

But... When did he come to the hospital then? He was giving her mixed signals, and as she was already so confused... It made things even worst for her...

Jaein placed her hand over her tummy, stroking it lightly.

Jaein (whispering softly): Baby-ah... Mummy is so useless right? I can't even help you keep your Daddy...That's why you're angry with me... And throwing tantrums inside me... I'm sorry...

Jaein started sobbing as she was talking. Hot tears fell down her cheeks and landed on her pillow, staining it wet.
