Hero took the opened gift from Kiyoko’s hands and take the necklace out.
Hero: Like I said, you have everything… I REALLY don’t know what to get you… And what’s more, I don’t have much to spend with… But when I saw this at the shop, I knew I had to get it for you… It might not be much… But it’s a sincere gift from my heart…
He held the necklace out and helped Kiyoko put it on. Kiyoko held the pendant up in her hand tightly. It was a pendant with the constellation Cassiopeia shaped like a W, with small clear white crystals as the stars. She looked at him happily.
Kiyoko (gratefully): I’ve already told you, I’ll like anything as long as it’s from you… I’m already thankful that you’re here to spend it with me… But this… this is beautiful… It’s Cassiopeia right? The star constellation that you told me about… The one that’s always there in the sky watching over you…
Hero (taken aback slightly): You still remember what I said about Cassiopeia?
Kiyoko (smiling shyly back): Of course… I remember everything that you told me…
Hero: Well… I want to watch over you like Cassiopeia watched over me from now till eternity… So that when you see this necklace, or the stars forming the shape W in the skies, you will feel like I am always right beside you, protecting you…
Kiyoko leaned her head on Hero’s shoulder, and hooked her arms around his.
Kiyoko (shyly): But… You ARE going to be ALWAYS right beside me… With or without the necklace… Right?
Hero slipping his arm around Kiyoko’s shoulder, and pulling her into his arms.
Hero (firmly): I will for as long as you want me to…
Kiyoko pulled away from his arms. She looked straight into Hero’s eyes.
Kiyoko: If so… I want you to stay with me forever… Don’t ever leave me alone like today again…
Hero (smiling contentedly): I promise…
Kiyoko leaned nearer and nearer to Hero, till their lips were almost touching.
Kiyoko: Then let’s seal our agreement with… a kiss…
Kiyoko closed her eyes, and leaned forward, she felt her lips touch Hero’s. They felt so warm, soft and welcoming. It was her first kiss, and she was glad that it was with him. Kiyoko pulled away after the innocent kiss, looking down shyly, and blushing terribly. Hero was still in shock at what his princess had just done. He couldn’t believe that she had just reciprocated his feelings with a firm and daring kiss. He was just sitting there staring at her with wide open eyes.
Kiyoko (embarrassedly): Don’t stare at me like this… You’re making me look bad… Was the kiss THAT BAD?
Hero snapped out of his daze and pulled her closer to him.
Hero: Actually… You’ve just made me lose ALL self-control… Now I NEED to do this SO BADLY…
Hero slipped his hands up and cupped Kiyoko’s face, pulling her towards her, with his eyes closed, he engulfed her lips with his. Licking her lips with his tongue, seeking permission to enter her mouth. Once his tongue gained entry, he entangled his tongue passionately with Kiyoko’s, tilting his head back and forth as the kiss grew more and more heated. They pulled apart a few minutes later, panting for air.
Hero looked at Kiyoko, her face was totally red from embarrassment, as well as from the heat of the kiss, and her hair was slightly tousled. She looked like she was in shock.
Hero (worriedly): I’m sorry… Did I go too far? I’m REALLY sorry if I scared you…I… I really lost it back there… Sorry… I should leave now… Before I…
Hero got up to leave. Kiyoko grabbed his hand.
Kiyoko: No… Don’t leave… I…
Kiyoko looked down shyly. She let go of Hero’s hand, and started unbuttoning her own pyjamas top. Hero grabbed her hands.
Hero: No… We shouldn’t be doing this…
Kiyoko (shyly looking up at Hero): You don’t want me?
Hero (almost going out of control): OF COURSE I WANT YOU… SO BADLY…
Kiyoko (biting her lips shyly): Then why are you pushing me away now?
Hero: Not now my princess… I want to make you officially mine… on our wedding night…
Kiyoko looked up at Hero with tears in her eyes.
Kiyoko: Wedding?
Hero (wiping her tears away): Yes… I will ask you dad for your hand when he comes back… It won’t be easy… I know… But I have to try…
Kiyoko (jumping to hug Hero): I don’t care what my dad says… Even if my dad disowns me, I want to be with you… But will you still want me when I have nothing?
Hero (pulling away to look at Kiyoko): Of course I want you… You are willing to give up everything for nothing… Why wouldn’t I give up nothing to be with my everything?
That night Hero slept in Kiyoko’s bed, with her in his arms. It was heaven on earth for them both, as they were finally able to bare their true hearts to their beloved.

When Kiyoko’s dad knew about Hero and Kiyoko’s relationship, he banished Hero from the house and locked Kiyoko up on house arrest, forbidding them to meet. He had a new female bodyguard for Kiyoko, whom slept in her room to prevent her from slipping away at night to meet Hero. And every time Hero tried to go near the house, he would be badly beaten up by the bodyguards.
Everything seemed hopeless. And Kiyoko was missing Hero so much that she fell sick. She was being rushed to hospital late one night with a fever as high as 49 degrees Celsius. Delirious from her fever, she kept calling out Hero’s name. When the car stopped at the red light, she opened the car door, and stumbled out, running as far as her sick body could take her. She didn’t get past 2 streets, until her body gave way and she felt dizzy when she was on the road. She felt her world spin, with all the lights and horns going around her. She was actually in the midst of the road, where cars were zooming past her. Her bodyguards were unable to get to her due to the traffic.
Kiyoko: Hero…Where… are… you?
A bright light blinded her, and she felt her body almost giving way.
